At Grace Baptist Church, we’re always excited to welcome new guests but we understand that visiting a church can be intimidating. When it comes to Grace you can relax….
We’re not perfect.
We’re not evaluating you when you walk in the door. In fact we are very glad to see you! Don’t worry about feeling like you have to measure up or fit in. None of us measure up to Christ and are all sort of limping through life and growing in grace together.
We’re not very religious.
To be honest religion has let a lot of people down. Often religious structures are confusing, complicated, and disconnected from real life. At Grace our goal is to help you move from “religion: into an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
We speak plainly.
At Grace we worship Jesus, study the Bible, and encourage each other in simple terms you will be able to use in your daily life. We believe and teach what the Bible actually says and why it matters. We try not to lean on traditions or pointless lectures. We believe in opening the Bible and applying it to real life in the twenty-first century.
We remember.
We remember what it was like first stepping into a new church and understand how intimidating that can be. However, we are all just regular friendly people. “Religious” people can often come off as artificial or argumentative. You won’t find that at Grace. Our desire is to be a spiritual hospital where people can come for healing, healthy relationships, and encouragement.
